Pig BagToString Example
The Pig Latin BagToString() function is used to concatenate the elements of a bag into a string. While concatenating, we can place a delimiter between these values (optional).
Step 1 - Change the directory to /usr/local/pig/bin
Step 2 - Enter into grunt shell in MapReduce mode.
Step 3 - Create a dob.txt file.
Step 4 - Add these following lines to dob.txt file. Save and close.
Step 5 - Copy dob.txt from local file system to HDFS. In my case, the dob.txt file are stored in /home/hduser/Desktop/PIG/ directory.
Step 6 - Load dob data.
Step 7 - Bag To String.
